US will share AstraZeneca vaccines with world: White House

The United States will begin exporting up to 60 million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine around the world in the next few months, as the re-instatement of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine has secured the country’s supply for the near future. This builds significantly on an earlier pledge to export up to 4 million doses to Canada and Mexico. The exports can begin once the drug clears a US regulatory hurdle, as it has not yet been approved by the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
