Chinese manufacturer Sinovac has submitted data to health officials in that country indicating that its COVID-19 vaccine is safe for use in children aged 3-17. Of a participant pool over 500, 2 youths aged 3 and 6 developed high fevers, while all other symptoms participants developed were mild. The participant pool showed an immune response after being administered the vaccine.
