Health Canada has approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine for use, making it the second vaccine that can be administered to Canadians. The decision follows review of clinical trial data and additional manufacturing information. Moderna intends to ship vaccines within 48 hours of the approval on December 23, with 68,000 doses arriving before the end of 2020. Up to 2 million are expected by the end of March 2021.
