The state of California has suspended immunizations using a specific lot of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine following six people needing medical attention for severe allergic reactions in a 24-hour period. The individuals all received the vaccine at the same location; no other issues have been identified in people who were administered the same lot number from over 1.2 million doses across the US.
